Hey Jason,

Any chance that there will be an ability to upload patterns, .png, project files to this site? I'd rather post them here than the CW forums as it could drive up membership! Thanks man!

THey are going to have to be hosted offsite. I am still looking for a free site that will host those file extension. THey are not very well know and all of the systems that I have found - other than the server space that I have - rejects them.

Jason,

Three very good ideas are mentioned in this one thread. First, the ability to upload files etc. Hopefully you'll be able to do it for free which is the second good idea. And third, just being able to have access to additional projects from folks working from the same platform which would, I believe, get additional individuals on this forum. That alone makes it all worth the trouble of setting it up.

Just my opinion of course.

Jason has a system set up now. If you will look at the top of the page you will see a "File Sharing" tab now..www.mediafire.com is the hosting site..

I went there and did not see how to upload to your account. I don't want my own. I opened an account on PhotoBucket for the old CNCArt guild forum and am still getting e-mails from them. I posted Pix once - my grandson's bed.

In there he gives the log in instructions if you do not want an account.

Also,
I clicked on the middle tab on the Metafile upload box and it would let me upload with out an account. It does say that you can not manage the files and not sure what happens after that!
