Jerry Mifflin Woodcarving Showca11

Jerry Mifflin, a lifelong artist in oil and watercolor paintings and pencil portraits, began woodcarving about twenty-five years ago. Since leaving the demanding schedule of the telecommunications industry in July 2001, his work has expanded almost exclusively to designing and carving custom deep-relief mantels and other large pieces.

Jerry would love to “swap a howdy” with you! Between April and November, as often as his schedule will allow, he likes to spend Saturdays carving a little and visiting a lot with tourists and other woodcarvers at ArtFolk Music & Wood, either in “The Holler” at The Engler Block, or at the Branson Mill, both in Branson, Missouri. E-mail him ahead of time if you're going to be stopping by and he'll make every effort to be there.
