X Axis Pause

Sat Sep 18, 2010 3:18 pm by ibyte2

Having a issue with a recent carving, at nearly 30% completed it has started to pause about every 3 or 4 passes. It happens right at the point of returning for the next pass. No errors codes appear on the screen and the cutting head is still running. Opening & closing the cover door brings everything back to life till the next pause.
Any suggestions

Thanks

Stuck in Loop

Tue Jun 08, 2010 7:38 am by whitesnstripes

New to my machine, but have completely read the manual and watched video I could find. I perused about every forum I could find and unable to find an answer.

I purchased my system used which already had plans for a rod holder installed on the card. I loaded the board and went through the series of prompts. I am now stuck in a loop of asking me to install the 1/8 inch bit. It goes through all …

Wierd Lines in project

Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:18 am by DudBuster

I am working on the finishing touches to my first real project and have run a few test pieces through the machine to tweak and make final changes. I noticed on the last piece I ran that the machine started to carve some lines that are not supposed to be there. Any ideas on what could cause this?

I have ran this project 3 times so far. The first two times I did not have this happen, the 3rd …

Checked options and im getting the 0000 numbers to change when it is moved. Z truck …

Z Axis stall nightmares

Sat Jul 18, 2009 9:17 pm by DudBuster

Ok, as I stated before I have had the CW for about a year or so and I just got into the double digit hours for carve time. Here is what happened:

I purchased the CW and carved 1 test item.... just to see the machine work. Something small, no big deal.

After playing with the software and getting a design that I really liked, I got everything loaded up into the machine a proceeded to carve. …

Odd error on Usage Meter

Sun Aug 16, 2009 12:37 am by Badger

I happened to check my usage meter last night to see how long Ive been going error free since installing the rock chuck (Im sure its above 50hrs already error free) and noticed that all of my hours

Cut Motor
Scan Time
Power On

are all 0. I purchased this unit back in January and for some odd reason it is showing that I have not logged any hours on the usage meter.

Any one else had …

Problem with Bit in Rock

Sat Jul 18, 2009 4:04 pm by Badger

RJ,

I was trying today to remove the carving bit from the rock to install the 60degree bit and after turning the screw and the bit is loose it remains in the chuck. I try to pull it out and it appears loose but hung up. Not sure what is hanging it up. Any ideas?
