Sorry about the later reply, but I just signed up.

There is a place about 30 miles from me that makes hdu and balsa foam.

Just go to www.balsafoam.com and they will send you samples.

I received some samples today from SignFoam.com, on their site and request!

Don't know for sure about being inexpensive, but wthdyc the customer wants something that is not going to warp, rot etc they gotta pay the price else they pay the price a couple times if they are in business very long!


Call 800-338-4030 Rick Cooper is the person to talk to, they sent 3 samples about 10 x10" and all the info with it, takes about 2 weeks!
