Got a request from a young lady to see if I could do a gag gift for her boy friend. She wanted a mermaid fishing lure. Good challenge I thought..

size is 3x1 1/2, 2 sided carve in cherry, painted with acrylic.

You may want to make a note with it "Good only for catching male fish"

in seriousness though, if this item is used as it is intended, it would make an interesting update if you were to post details of its success - or failure - particularly if pics of the capture were included.

Great sense of humor!! Laughing lol!
No this was not carved as an actual fishing lure, it was a gag gift that the gal wanted to send to her boy friend. The only "fish" was the gal that ordered it!!
