Wierd Lines in project

I am working on the finishing touches to my first real project and have run a few test pieces through the machine to tweak and make final changes. I noticed on the last piece I ran that the machine started to carve some lines that are not supposed to be there. Any ideas on what could cause this?

I have ran this project 3 times so far. The first two times I did not have this happen, the 3rd time is when it showed up. Also, I apologize in advance for the poor quality of the pictures.

Ok, have searched found several items related to 308 however they mostly talked about the probe.

Trying to get my first machine that was sitting for awhile ready to give to a friend so he can use it. Its been cleaned and when I try to test it with a board in and go to measure it gives me Zaxis stall 308.

Checked options and im getting the 0000 numbers to change when it is moved. Z truck feels stable nothing appears to be pinched unsure what could be the causes for the stall at this ...

Ok, as I stated before I have had the CW for about a year or so and I just got into the double digit hours for carve time. Here is what happened:

I purchased the CW and carved 1 test item.... just to see the machine work. Something small, no big deal.

After playing with the software and getting a design that I really liked, I got everything loaded up into the machine a proceeded to carve. During this carve I received one "Z Axis stall" error message. I reset the job (about ...

Odd error on Usage Meter

I happened to check my usage meter last night to see how long Ive been going error free since installing the rock chuck (Im sure its above 50hrs already error free) and noticed that all of my hours

Cut Motor

Scan Time

Power On

are all 0. I purchased this unit back in January and for some odd reason it is showing that I have not logged any hours on the usage meter.

Any one else had this happen? Not that Im worried about it just never seen this before.

I was trying today to remove the carving bit from the rock to install the 60degree bit and after turning the screw and the bit is loose it remains in the chuck. I try to pull it out and it appears loose but hung up. Not sure what is hanging it up. Any ideas?
